Business development and relationship builder

Sidem already has a nice turnover in your regions: France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Benelux, Scandinavia, United Kingdom, Ireland and Africa. In these regions, Sidem currently generates around 1/3 of its total turnover. The growth opportunities are enormous. Your task is to double the turnover in these regions within 5 years.

Sidem sells its products through specialist distributors, who in turn target the mostly independent garage and car repair companies.You spend about 75% of your time expanding collaboration with existing distributors. In addition, you develop the distribution network, including the e-commerce parties.

Expertise and passion
With knowledge, market data and enthusiasm, you are able to gain the trust of the distributor and conclude contracts. You are a strong interlocutor for your contacts at all levels and you are able to agree on favourable conditions. Together with the distributor, you make plans and take concrete actions. You support and train them to achieve optimal results with the end customer as well. You have a clear vision of the international market, follow developments and have a continuous overview of what is happening in your region.

In this position you will be supported by the sales support department from Belgium. You have monthly meetings with the other Sales Managers. You are regularly in the office in Gullegem (Belgium) and you report to the Senior Sales & Marketing Manager.


  • Entrepreneurial, enthusiastic personality
  • Experience in an international sales function focused on distribution
  • Experience in the automotive sector (after-sales) would be a strong asset
  • Strategic vision, organizational skills, sales-driven, not affraid to take initiatives
  • Mastering the English language
  • Good communication skills, open mind, ambition
