In this position, you play a crucial role in defining the IT strategy to contribute to Sidem’s strategic growth. You will be responsible for various IT projects, with a major focus on the choice and implementation of a new ERP for the entire organisation.   • You are responsible for devising, initiating, implementing and monitoring the IT policy, focusing on both the strategic and operational
  • You work daily to optimise, secure and ensure the systems and actively take on tasks around further digitalisation of the organisation.
  • Together with the application manager, you are the point of contact for questions and problems from the business and work concretely towards solutions (whether or not in cooperation with external consultants).
  • You will be responsible for planning and managing projects (mainly software).
  • You are in close contact with the business and management and contribute to the choice of new systems and applications. Your expertise and insights help determine which investments are made.
  • You liaise with suppliers on technical projects and evaluate these collaborations.
  • You will be responsible for purchasing IT equipment and monitor the corresponding budget.
  • You will travel sporadically to better understand the needs in our Romanian production site.
  • You will manage a small international team of about 2 employees, in Romania and Belgium. You will report to the Owner-CEO

 

 

 

 

Profile

  • You combine a Master’s level of thinking with solid experience in a similar position
  • You have experience with ERP implementations within a manufacturing environment, with business processes and interfacing.
  • You have extensive experience in implementing and leading IT Projects.
  • Knowledge of AX2009 may be an asset, but is not a must.
  • You are an excellent people manager, with proven experience in coaching and motivating.
  • You communicate fluently and openly in Dutch and English.
