Sidem, the European manufacturer of steering and suspension parts, has been producing steering and suspension parts for the aftermarket for more than 85 years. With over 9,000 references, they are the number 1 supplier in Europe. Today, Tesla parts are also included in the range.
Electric cars trend
The automotive sector shows a clear trend towards electric vehicles. “Being the reference for steering and suspension parts for the aftermarket, Sidem cannot lag behind. This concerns most particularly the S-series from Tesla, which has been introduced on the market for a number of years now”, says Delphine Dewildeman, marketing manager at Sidem. “We offer the necessary references for all models that have appeared within the series. In the future, we will also add the pieces from Model 3”.
One-stop-shop for steering and suspension parts
“Of course, it was a very conscious choice to include parts for electric cars in our range”, continues Delphine Dewildeman. “Because not only Tesla, but also other car manufacturers are increasingly turning towards electrification. As a one-stop-shop for steering and suspension parts, we want to offer the right references for every car type that appears on the market. Sidem has the largest range for the aftermarket and naturally wants to keep it that way”.

Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs) put extra stress on steering and suspension parts. Compared to combustion cars, BEVs are much heavier due to the battery pack and they accelerate much faster. Sidem’s range of BEV components are reinforced to cope with this extra weight, the higher torque and vibrations for a safe and comfortable drive.
